Gurdjieff clearly stated, "I ask you to believe nothing that you cannot verify for yourself." Verification is the foundation for work on oneself in a Fourth Way school. Believing someone else's experience will not increase our understanding, or change our level of being. This Work becomes practical through self-observation and by making consistent efforts to self-remember.
